Lightest i can get my TT with 35L in tank is 1540kg's.. COnsidering im 125, my race weight is 1665kg's... Dunno where the under 1.5T came from.. A Pov Pack TT weighed 1530 in street trim. |

| Hmmm I guess you could say it could 'possibly' be under 1500kg at a dry weight with a bit of weight reduction. But yeah your right, with the driver plus everything you want in them they would be more like 1600-1700 for the JZZ30/UZZ30 anyway.

| August 24th Mike, id aim to be there about 11am to get a few practice runs in and decide on a dyo time. Ill be happy with 14.5 or quicker, now i have brand new 225s instead of the near bald 205s i ran last time. Car is still stock, havn't even done the bfi mod yet! |

I might be there if its a fine day, got a private drag meet on the 31st too but who knows if that will be rained out (was last time) Cars ready for a bit of fun so can't wait to see what it can do. With a bit of luck if it's dry and I get the take off nailed I wouldn't think high 14's would be hard to get. Will be good to see your TT down there Warren and Shyam in his monster... As well as Blake, Hopefully he will be there too? |

Some of my best times were run in the rain. We used to have combo events at Mere Mere between the Auckland Mustang Owners Club and the Capri Club of NZ. I owned a 1971 Capri 3.0L GT-XLR automatic, and used to dust the average Mustang down the quarter IN THE WET!!. Me, no traction problems............Mustang's..........HEAPS of traction problems! By the time they got meaningful "Rubber to the Road", I was long gone.......... Anyhoo, that was a looooooooong time ago, and times have changed.
