Hey guys havent been on here for ages, havent really been mucking round with the soarer much. However i was doing a few things on the weekend and noticed the bonnet gas struts are knackered, where can these be re-gassed or purchased

Hmmm I think I have a couple of old gas stays, Ill check them out tomorrow and see if they have any compression still.

It's a really annoying problem this, my celsior and old soarers did it but this latest V8 and 3l one have been very strong. Guess its just luck of the draw!

There is a place on the North Shore who can regas or replace. STABILUS, they are in Glenfield and usually very reasonably priced.

Hey guys, thanks for the info, if your struts are fine mike i will be interested as its a really annoying problem, using a broom handle to keep your bonnet up is not ideal.
