Heres some pictures of the repair.
So far so good, next its off to get painted and the boot lid debadged/painted (as well as the nasty old lexus badge holes welded up)
GOD I cant wait to get it back!!! |

The repair looks good Mike! Gutted about the crash, but it may end up a good thing(de-baged, new paint etc) keen for some pics of the finished product. Best of luck  |

Yeah thats what I was thinking, the paint was a little marked around that area and turns out there had been a previous repair! Didnt surprise me as a few things I had seen pointed to that

Mmmm, good old Phil Stokes panel beaters!
I just hope they took care in removing the interior panels, back seats etc, drivers door card!
I will not be happy if theres one thing out of place or damaged. (hence why I hate giving my car to others to work on)
I trust they would do a good job, but not all shops out there are respectful. |

Well you can always take it back and get them to rectify it - its just a pain when they don't get it right the first time. |

Yeah Exactly, they work on classic cars so I think they would have a much bigger degree of care than most other shops around Auckland.
I'm just most interested to see what the paint Job will be like.
Hopefully no over spray! I'll be wild! Haha |

Hmmmm thats a point but it was just the body work they were doing in those pics.
I wonder where they will take it when it comes to painting... Hope they get the colour right. |

Well, Got my Soarer back today! Was fantastic getting it back all repaired and painted.
Looks fantastic with the debadged boot and new paint on the boot, side and door. They got the paint matched exactly!
Makes me want to get the left side repainted in a few places where its needed!
Ill post up the pictures when I get the chance. |

Yeah, I'll be taking it along since its on Saturday in early morning hours when the roads will be dead quiet Give you the chance to see it.

You betcha Joe, Going great, although rather cautious around other drivers, especially who is following me!
Got my exhaust sorted out, now just the rear mufflers and it sounds fantastic, think of the American V8 sorta sound... I can't stop listening to it! |

Did you go past me at about 3:30pm on Church Street yesterday Mike? A green debadged Soarer flashed its lights at me as I went past it, but I didn't see the driver or the wheels, so not sure if it was you. |

Haha it certainly was me Matt, I spotted your red Soarer a few cars ahead so flicked my lights as you went passed, looked like you wearing reading glasses of some sort?
I was just coming back from the Muffler shop after having my resonators taken out, was exactly a month to the day and time I got hit by that cop! Time flys! |
