Yeah, It is a hard ask Dan.
We've tried to get a Soarer cruise going up here in Wellington about 18 months-2 years ago. It never happened.
The closest we got was 4 Soarer owners and a previous owner a drag meet in Masterton last year. |

the worst part is there a re quite a few Soarers down here ! surely some of them must be members of S.C COME ON PEOPLE !!!!!!!!!!!????????? |

There are loads of soarers in AKL as well but there has never been a cruise so far to my knowledge.
Speaking of which, I saw a nice example of a '94 UZZ31 this evening, driving along Grenlane West, reg BBA583. Not proud to say I sped off well above the speed limit in a bit of a running drag race :| |

Ha ha don't worry Mark, if it makes you feel better I have done the same with a pearl white Soarer along the motorway by Onehunga.... |

Yeah, its been tried in Auckland too, and no luck.
And yeah, I've dragged a FSG UZZ3x Soarer here in Hamilton one foggy morning in the Waikato in the middle of winter (6am) - I got about a car and a bit length on him by the time we hit 100, so his car must have been well rooted, I was expecting to be humiliated! |

What a shame your not up this way Daniel.
Could have shared some of my know how!
Over the years its proved to be hard to do an NZ Soarer meet. There are a good number of Soarer enthusiasts herre but its a problem meeting since we are scattered throughout the country North to south... So doing local meets would only turn a few members at best.
Luck for the guys in Australia, each of there cities has at least a dozen or two active soarer enthusiasts ready to meet up.
Ah well! |

Hi guys I just purchased a G'tech if anyone wants to know what their soarer is putting out at the treads or 1/4 mile times or 0-100kms etc just post on here and I will get back to you about having a session ? will post my times as soon as i get a chance to play with it |

I have a vortex style front but it sits far to low and getting sick of it hit driveway entrances so i am currently cutting 55mm from the lower lip, before cutting it sat only 100mm from ground, how low is yours ? |

Graham Powell: mine probably sits as low as yours maybe lower it's pretty aggressive but I have airbags so driveways are no issue for me. however if you are after a factory front bar mine is up for grabs in metallic green $100.00 or front and rear for $180.00 check my post in kiwi parts if your interested |
