| Wow I just did a search on TradeMe and there are 27 Soarer's from 91 through to 97. I wonder how many there actually are here in NZ? Average price is only $7000.00 now. Boy that's a lot of car for 7 grand. Pretty bad depreciation. From around $160,000 new to $7000 in 15 years. |

| I think only the '32's were that much, others started about half that. Still a lot of depreciation and yes a lot of car for $7k. Are you sure some of those cars aren't advertise more than once? |

| Matt, I agree. I've definitely seen quite a few more around the north island. It is not without a smug sense of satisfaction that i can say that mine is one of the tidiest ones I've seen so far in NZ There is also a 98 single turbo Soarer for sale which I must go look at when i pick mine up this week. http://www.trademe.co.nz/Trade-Me-Motors/Cars/Toyota/auction-46444920.htm |

| btw, anyone here know of a Fred Fuchs? He may well have moved on from the Soarer scene but i do remember seeing some great pics of his black or FSG V8 here in NZ which he had obviously spent alot of time and money on. |

Thats WAY too much money for an 8 year old car, even if it is a manual. |

| IF the right Snoarer came along, I would quite happily pay up to $20k(NZD) for it. BUT it would have to be a MINT 97 Ltd, a VERY late 32 with ALL the options, OR a 99/2000 Turbo, but again I stress it would have to be TOTALLY mint.

| Hmmmm....Its time to sell the Mr2 and buy a sensible car. I should get a wagon....but for only a little less I could get another Soarer...the main draw back is fuel costs. Does anyone have some recent fuel usage stats for their Soarer (1jz-gte)?? The main reason i want a wagon is for my drumkit although I could actually fit my kit in my old Soarer (no way in the Mr2 though) |
