if you do wanna change the colour of those puppies.... *which would look sick , yet be a biatch to clean*

Have a look at gettin them powder-coated as an alternative to painting. Was cheaper when i did it, they came up a treat, and apparently dont chip as easily or badly as painted wheels.

* the guys who did mine also had a variety of whites... very good.

Powder coated a lot harder to repair if chipped.
Painted a lot easier to touch up.

Hey Delan, or any other interested party, can you try painting the wheels in this thread champagne colour?
and if its not too much more trouble, put them on a silver soarer? hhehehhe
thanks a million in advance

i can get rims powdercoated for $25 each, but you need to get them sandblasted first for about $100 each

Yeah I know sorry dude, it's a little tricky trying to get the exact colour match and when the lighting comes into play it messes it up completely lol

Good luck with it though. I've seen people paint it using all the proper gear (not powdercoat, just a spray gun) and it turned out pretty decent.

To get my rims powder coated i rang around and found that prices varied hugely from place to place.

I ended up gettin my wheels done for about $60 each from memory????? *was about 3 years ago)
That included : Sandblasting, Priming, Powedercoating and some kinda nice finish (made it harder and shiny*

like i said, i cant really remember how much it was, but it was well worth it, changed the WHOLE look of the little ET with just some bright wheels.

how would one go about painting rims.
Just strip the existing paint/grease, get rid of the shine and paint away.

James that's a pretty damn good price per each wheel, I got quoted $200 for all four powdercoated but it didn't include sandblasting.
