Ok people, seeing as you're all to slack to email me, I've PM'd you with my account details. You'll need to give me 50% of the value of what you ordered as a deposit. I need payment cleared and in my account by friday 8/9/06 or you won't be getting your parts!

Parts should arrive within 3-4 weeks of placing the order, as they are comming from japan. Remaining 50% of the price will be requiered before I pick them up.

Just thought that I'd let you know that there will be a few days delay in me actually ordering the parts as there has been a death in the family and I think that attending the funeral is a tad more important than going to toyota. Should get there on monday or tuesday.
Will work out well for all you slackers, it'll give the cash time to clear!

I didn't order any for the people that pulled out, but I can tack another one on if you'd like?
PM or email me rather then furthering discussion here.
As for the rest of you, toyota being the lovely people that they are took the initiative to go a head and order some of the parts that I was ordering in advance, ergo most of the stuff will be here by mid next week!
I'll let you all know when they get here. |

Can i just ask a quick question regarding the engine and gearbox mounts?
When does it become apparent that the mounts for the engine and gearbox need replacement?
Is there any tell-tale signs of worn mounts?

Tell tale signs...
Excessive vibrations from engine or gearbox, engine sagging to one side, get under the car and have a squiz, there might be cracks in the dampers.

Look at your engine from the front. If your engine is leaning towards the drivers side then you have busted mounts. My engine was moving so much under load that it lifted up and the Aux belt would hit the battery tray.
Kazama Engine mounts fixed the problem. |

Put her into gear and make sure you have brakes on. Give her a rev. Whilst the car is under load, if you have a snapped engine mount, the engine will leap upwards - it's VERY noticeable.
At the moment my engine jumps about 6 inches into the air - and I went on a few cruises through the hills like that. Have fixed the annoying 'squeak' from the tension pulley and replaced the belt (after the Sunday cruise for SC), that's when I found the snapped engine mount. Really shouldn't hammer her so much. Oh well. |

So you didn't read the first page with the dates then 
There should still be some of them in the country atm, I can still get it at that price but I will need payment in full for that. Postage to WA will be about $10.
