I gather that Jeff Harper was selling the Genuine (90915-20004, the bigger, better, older variation that Toyota doesnt sell anymore) ex Japan oil filters for $20.00. From his thread it seems that he had sold out on the V8 ones. Some people got a few off him. I was wondering if anyone has any left that they would like to sell to me? Planning to get my hands dirty with a minor service soon. Cheers!

No, I don't stock them anymore. It was not worthwile sending out ones and two's. I will get them if you want 10.

Jeff are they substantially better? If so i will take two, then if Tahmid takes one and some other people are interested? Btw jeff i was well happy with the big chrome griffin you supplied. Are these still available? (a mate is keen).

Ben, please, you buy 10 and find the group please. It is just too much hassle for such a small value item.

I can always get the wonderful griffin.

You can still get them from Toyota NZ - I got one last Monday - I doubt postage would be too much for something so small.

I just got the genuine Toyota one(ex-Thai) from CMI Toyota today- $19 something (SC discount, original price is $24 something). I was told that these are just as good and V8 Lexuses use them now. Gotta say I still believe something ex-Japan would be better. Got the best I could get anyway.

The Japanese Toyota ones are made in Japan to different specs it seems.
