It's been a while, so I was just wondering - where is the main washer bottle located (ie- the one for the front windscreen)? I've got two motors for the squirters dangling around and i need to make a new reservoir for the front. Thanks in advance

its right in front of the front passanger side wheel mate. The cap should shoot out right between the battery and passanger side gaurd just behind the headlight.

To access it to remove it your going to have to take off the front bar mate

thats not a hard job

just incase you havent removed a bar before, there are 5 screws under the rubber strip where the edge of the bonnet sits at the front, just pull the rubber up, unbolt it there, then you have twin screw clip directly above the indicator that you need to wind the nuts off on the inside behind the edge of the gaurd.. your most likely going to have to get at it from directly underneath and remove the plastic stone gaurds, or you might need to remove the front wheels so you can get at the plastic inner gaurds there and access it from the side. depending on the front bar you might also need to undo bolts from underneath that connect the front bar to the central stone chip protector. so your anywhere between 9 and 12 total screws/nuts to undo.

I'm glad that you gave me those instructions actually, 'cause the bar came off about two years ago and I'll be stuffed if I know how it goes back on or where it bolts to, so I'll follow the instructions in reverse. Prepare to see polished aluminium washer bottle with billet cap!

Thanks man!

no worries man i had a think about it and wondered if you'd done it before so yeah its easier to just help you out!

I hope the bolt plates are still located somewhere with the car or front bar, they'd be hard to source seperately due to the fact you'd use the same clips for after market bars also, so it makes it painful finding spares

good luck with it champ.

Guys,

The washer bottle in front of the left wheel is accessable by removing the plastic inner guard. A lot easier than removing the front bar. Mine's a '31 & that's how I got to mine.
