I just wanted to post this to vent some of my frustration i put my car in for my last little few things before my final dyno run ie. oil cooler, service and tune and its been more than a week and my mechanic still hasnt even put the oil cooler on. What is it about mechanics that takes them so long and if they didnt have time to do it why do they tell me to bring my car in and leave it with them. I think i should start learning how to do some of this stuff myself.

it may be because they don't know how to work on a soarer. Take it to a soarer specialist like Bert Kewish in Dandenong who will do that same thing in very short time.

Let me explain, lol, you might be too nice and he might be working on other cars b/c you don't bug him enough to finish yours. I have the same problem w/ my mechanic, except that mine has been in the shop for about 5 months now...
