Ok i know this has been done before, but i had to make a new thread on it, the others i found were years old and nothing ended up coming from them.
Today i saw this really nice soarer, blue paint job, lowered, nice 18" rims, good bodykit and thought to myself ' i wonder if they know about this site'. So i wrote the site down and slipped it under the wiper.
And yes i know this was in a thread before.... but we need to get some designs for a business card to give out to potential new members.
What do you guys think? Good idea? |

Yes it's a good idea although you would most likely have to pay for it. Perhaps get Simon to make them up, and pay him. Also you could just go to a business and have some made up.
Or just keep doing what your doing. Pen and paper. |

Yeah but need a good design for them. I would either take the design to sign place or just print them on card at home.
I will keep on doing that for now, but want something more professional looking to impress new members, and make them actually head to the site. |

Even if some IT dude/photoshop savvy member could make up a design (maybe just use the top banner compressed with the address) and post up the template in jpeg. Then we could all just save, print and distribute a we see fit. Cheap and time effective method I believe.
It always amazes me the amount of soarer enthusiasts who dont know the site, met a guy the other day who had been through 2 x V8 and looking for a third and was like, "soarercentral what?"  |

Looking good Dave.
I am sure there is heaps of people on here that are great with art and design.
Problem with word of mouth is when the owner isn't present only real way of letting them know is some pathetic looking pen on paper method.
Where as if we can get some official looking card it looks more professional. |

I think thats fine, maybe a message such as "Please join our Soarer Club" may do the job and make the griffon horizontal.
I love the car and cutaway pic! Good job. 
Steven x2 what Scott said, plus this gives me the excuse to go up and check out soarers without looking dodgy - much to the embarrassment of my girlfriend. |

i know you can get TOTALLY FREE business cards at www.vistaprint.com and have them shipped to u for about 10 bucks.
you get a huge box full, theyre professional quality, photo level graphics, good card stock etc.
the only thing to tolerate is a tiny line on the back with their website address on it.
theres alot of custom ones u can build for free.
and if u wanna use your own logos or pics like a soarer or whatever its like 5 to 10 dollars.
i used to order them to use as general contact cards for business phone number exchanges and another set for giving to girls. easier than having a pen and paper. |

Great work guys! Simpler is better. Business cards are small, and it's easy for them to look cluttered.  |

same i think a nice update would be sweet and help get more people interested in coming back more.
that card would be great i have a really old soarer central one in my wallet i show other people i see that dont know about it but i dont give it out cause its one that was given to me and i dont have any more haha not like there are heaps of soarers in goulburn anyway.. my brother and i make up 2/3rds of the soarer population here haha |
