Recently the gears have started to shift rough, or at odd times ( when the car is cold sometimes it doesn't shift to 2nd till its near in the red) So i just figure i need a gearbox service? But yesterday when i was driving there was a large shudder/vibration(loud too) coming from the rear of the car seeming to be coming from the passenger side. Not sure if much of this makes sense cause its hard to really explain whats going on. Any feedback is much appreciated.

The shifting issue sounds like sticking solenoids.
