went and looked at another soarer today. The clock reads 133,000kms, but there is cracks in the leather and sort of scrape marks along the right hand side of the drivers seat where you would brush past to get in and out of the car.
Is this possible for the amount of K's or has the clock been wound back? Has anyone one experienced this at around the 130K mark? The car was imported 2yrs ago, and has a sticker under the bonnet stating 80,000K's, does this seem a little low for a 92 model soarer?
Any feedback would be great, thanks.

Ignore the k's and go by the condition.

It's possible that the original driver only drove 500 metres to work each day, so a lot of stops and starts and seat wear without many k's on the dial.

Unfortunately the k's on Soarer's have always been questionable but I think 133000k's could be accurate. Scrapes & cracks in the leather can be the result of just not conditioning the leather & being careless when getting into the car, I would be looking at the steering wheel to see if the colour is warn down and look at the carpet. The 80000k's sticker could be the timing belt replacement sticker (it should have a date on it). I would just be more concerned with the overall condition of the car. Check for any previous panel damage/ Paint condition and most importantly Mechanical. As you would have seen/read they are a pretty strong car all round and you should be good for a few hundred thousand k's as long as they are looked after.
Post up some pics if you have any.

here are some pics of the car.
Not too keen on the rims but that's easily fixed.
The carpet has a little bit of a yellow tinge to it, not sure what that's from? Doesn't look as bad in the flesh..

It looks like its had a respray at some stage, (Lower lip and in front of the radiator are the give aways). But that is neither here or there, The steering wheel, hand brake cover and gear shifter don't look badly worn (from the pics Anyway). Looks pretty straight from the pics & they always look a lot better when freshly detailed.
How much?

Should have a stacker in the boot and Sub in the parcel tray. The sub should be an easy swap I think the amp for the sub sits next to it but on the underside of the parcel tray and the amp for all of the other speakers sits under the stacker in the boot. There are some how to's to add aftermarket cd player on here somewhere.

Daniel, if he lowered the price abit I would buy it in a second. I'm saving for a house at the moment too, so I can't spend as much as i'd like to....

Rob, yeah saw that car aswell, just a little cautious buying a car off a P plater, I know what i was like on my P's and assume everyone's probably the same.... I wouldn't have bought a car off me.

tried to ring him but phone turned off...
One more question, if you buy an aftermarket height controller, do you still need to adjust the rods? I'm assuming you do but i really have no idea... I'm assuming that once you do adjust the rods, the AM height controller just raises and lowers it quicker and gives you more pre-set heights??
