So would I be right in saying about 38 000 TT Soarers were produced? Hopefully someone else gets that figure :-)

Not quite... 36489 TTs and 1536 VVTI Single Ts is how I read it.

What about it? It's on the list, though the numbers are influenced by sales of the SC-400 to the US.

If im lucky I see 2 or 3 other soarers ever week or so. Very rare in New Zealand!

Which is quite good as I have a car few people have here have, a gold one at that which is reasonably rare in the v8 model.

yeah, im pretty careful with this car, means alot to me . I wash it and clean the interior every 2 or 3 days! right down to the tail pipes! So its unlikely it will get damaged with me owning it.. Plus its got a break down isurance warranty so if something breaks it will be covered! Recently with the previous owners all the shocks were replaced with the warranty, Its got 2 years left on the warranty

What are you talking about?

There's heaps of Soarers all through NZ. I see at least 3 a day just driving from home to work and back and around town.

There's also lots of parts for them around the place. I haven't had any problems so far Soarcing parts for the Soarer. You just have to look in the right places.

hmmm guess it depends where abouts you are and the other soarers are. Guess i just miss most of them! But over a time ive seen at least 15 i can think of over the last couple months.

I find they are quite eye catching if you like them.

some ive seen, especially white ones are really dirty and rough looking, Obviously the owner doesnt really care about their soarer.. i wonder why they even bother buy them if they dont look after it!

Heh, I never said parts were hard to get

But its generally the freight to get them here that's my problem.....one of the perks of living in a small Coastal city I guess, but you've seen the view across the road Hanré, it'll take more than money to let that go

One of the few advantages of living in a small NZ city (NP), is that we have one of the premier Toyota wreckers right here in town.........namely, Trent at "Totally Toyota"........he IS da MAN

I'm lucky if I see 1 a week here. Mike, glad to hear you take such good care of your car - but you cant do much about the many a**hole Auckland drivers (who do things like run stop signs in rush hour traffic. Not that I'm bitter or anything... mumble mumble...)

Yeah alot of shocking drivers around Auckland. On sunday a cheap honda civic ran a read light at over 60km/h... i always treat the traffic lights like give way signals to avoid being hit!

And if a dodgy persons tailing me i change lanes if possible!! dont want to be rear ended but some fool!
