Recently the lock up converter and torque converter lock up solenoid packed it in on my car. So my car has been sitting at the mechanics for about 2 weeks now as they can't locate the solenoid anywhere. They said they maybe able to get one from the US or japan new but may cost $600 or more and with all the other costs involved so far that would blow my budget.
Does anyone know where i may locate one 2nd hand or does anyone have one they are willing to sell? Any help with this is greatly appreciated. Thanks in advance David.

Would they not be the same as the A340? Very common box. Might pay to talk to a automatic specialist.

I think the guys at the shop tried one of those cause they told me they got one they thought was similar but wouldn't work or fit, i'm not sure though. I'll give them a call and check, to see if that is it.
