240rwkw is incredibly low, especially for a heavy V8. On slicks/methonol? about 230rwkw in a lighter TT only equals about a 12.8 at best!! How did he get it into the 11's?

I think it has to do with the torque output.
Err, down V8 boys that's not torque output... presuming it should read 1250N as tractive effort on a Dyno Dynamics dyno. 1250Nm would make it one of the most powerful cars in the world! Even the 4.7L twin blown 20psi Koenigsegg CCR only has 750Nm of torque at the crank...

Yes, that is somewhat excessive. lol.
As a comparison
Our worked 462 big block (74 Firebird), while not being able to get a proper reading due to massive wheelspin problems, was getting approx 600Nm before frying the tires.
With that torque it needed 3 chains on the side of the block to prevent the engine mounts being torn to pieces and shattering the windscreen.
Having said that. 11.8!! Awesome effort out of a luxo cruiser!

Very nice.. I'd be happy with a 13 n/a .. I think it's possible and am looking into it but having trouble finding a mechanic who wants to work on the internals...

neil! the result is a tribute to your handiwork! what sort of budget would get a 31 doing that sort of time? obvioulsy $7 for the blower to start with!
