Hey everyone well after all the work that i have put into the car see this thread: (https://soarercentral.com/sc-forum/messages/51875/258530.html?1218973899) I took the car out to the new gippsland park hillclimb track yesterday and really gave the new suspension mods, brake mods and manual box to the test!
the new track is wickid! nice fresh new surface and lots of interesting corners to really test the whole setup of the car!
The track is roughly 1.2km long and is located on the other side of MOE. the old track was in morwell but has since been demolished.
anyway on with the photos!!
first photo is the last couple of corners
this is the back part of the track. you come over that crest at the top of the photo at about 90km (that was as fast as i would dare go) and then your stomach drops just before the right corner.
first pic of the car and it was a bit damp in the morning.
my main problem for the day was getting the power downi really needed some new rubber and an LSD
I think the new whiteline swaybars and the coilovers really paid off the turn in was insane! it didnt understeer all day
here you can see the load on the front suspension going around a tight hairpin the front wheels did scrub a little
and more traction issues that really hamperd my lap times.
all in all it was a great day out! that hill climb track is the best! its like going for a run through the black spur with no traffic!!

ha ha was that you driving past? i put my thumb up!
im not sure when they open up the track but i went with a friends "improved production car racing club" and it was a bit of a charity day for their club cost me $75 with a licence.
