Hey all, I am new to theses cars and in the market for buying one. I am after a V8 one as i already own a 300zx z32 twin turbo. I work in the car industry on brand new cars as a detailer.

I am just after some advice on what to really look out for when buying a soarer. I know about looking out for drivers seat that has wear in it as well as taking a look at the steering wheel.

I have been looking at this one on carsales but yet to get in contact with the owner.

Hi Nathan and welcome to SC. The car you are looking at possibly buying looks to be in good order (except the top of the steering wheel) but I would still have it checked over by someone you trust.
The price being asked seems about right for that year and that condition. If you want to pay a lot more for a later model in Qld. let me know.

Hi Nathan,

Make sure the EMV (Touch screen) is working fine with all the functions.

Check the Cd stacker and all speakers are working and also check all the air struts are in working order and no air / oil leak too.

You can always get a workshop to do a mechanical checkup for you from S&LC!

Dont forget to check the a/c and heater are working too, as the a/c compressor is expensive to replaced!
