I vacillate about selling my car and not.
I'm considering a V35 Skyline as a replacement and have looked at a number of them and have to say I like what I see.
It's funny how, just as my car is running the best it ever has and looks (in my opinion) really hot, I think about selling. Maybe it's the improvement path that's come to an end and I need something younger to spend time making it how I want.

If you want a more recent car the v35's are a nice import option.
The GT models are especially nice.

The 4 doors are a nice practical option too, and its a great engine. I'd consider one but they are still a bit pricey here.

Dave, Yes I have driven both the 4 door 8 speed and the 5 speed coupe. Of course the 4 door is practical if you frequently carry passengers (which I don't). It has slightly less power than the coupe and of course has to be heavier.
Interestingly, the coupe has a wide fold down section behind the rear seats which the 4 door does not have.
For a naturally aspirated car, they go like a shower of ****. I don't think I would need to do too many mods for speed. Just a set of decent wheels, free flow exhaust and that would be about it.
Not quite as much luxury as the LTD I now drive, but I find I don't use everything I have in any case. So the verdict is still out there as to whether to go for it or not.
Perhaps the worst thing would be leaving the SC environment.

If anything I'd go for the V35 coupe, but they are still pretty pricey. Nice vehicles though.

Dont turn this forum into a hangout for fanboys who hate everything other than something very specific.

The v35 is a very decent car.

Yeah, I'm a one eyed Toyota fan too, but I still like the V35, and Nissan do make some decent, reliable cars.
