Hey guys/gals just thought i would post up a little warning about the leather seat covers from the recent group buy! But dont get me wrong I LOVE MY SEAT COVERS they are sweet as! But the other day my girlfriend left a bottle of water on the seat in the direct sunlight and it somehow like magnified (Like burning ants when your young with a magnifying class)and started melting the seat cover. I got back in the car after about 10 mins down the local shop and i could see a small bit of smoke coming from the seat. I lifted up the water bottle and there was what looked like a burn hole about the size of a 5c piece. SUCKS! But oh well. My point is DONT LEAVE ANY KIND OF DRINK BOTTLES ON THE SEATS! Steve

faark i never heard of such a thing! i suppose it wouldnt happen with leather though. What a bummer. I think you should ditch your girlfriend and never drink water again.

HAHA! Yeah i had no idea about it either! But it would really suck to come back and have like your whole seat going up in flames or worse your whole car! haha! I couldn't believe it!

That's very unlucky but as Ben mentioned, it won't happen with leather. I am surprised so many people bought the "Pleather" (Vinyl) covers when the real leather covers were cheaper, fit better and won't have this sort of problem.
