How would you go about putting a bugcatcher on the soarer v8 (Cast aluminium type, same as the old hotrods). I already have a hole in the bonnet because of a scoop. And love the look of v8's with a bugcatcher (Hmmm Mad Max).

That would be hell unique though, no one has really ever done this. Bullet sell the bug catchers by the way.

i saw a pic of one a while ago.. had a bug catcher, bullbar and chequerplate sideskirts and mudflaps.. it was the only soarer that has made me cry you would be better off with a pro scoop or something. bit more rounded to go with the shape of the soarer

Approve. Just make sure it's an Enderle style and not a gayass Hilborn. Mr Gasket do a decent knock off for a lot less than a genuine Enderle.

Hmm, don't really know, I just can't really picture this working on a large sporty, modern(ish) coupe... maybe I'm wrong. |

A bugcatcher I dont think would look the part. The normal open ended 'ET head' style filter would look alright though, especially with a 6/71 under it.

Pulling up next to crappy skyline drivers with a bug catcher and rumbling V8...couldn't picture anything better.

i still think someone needs to put a 671 on a v8 soarer.. out the bonnet everything polished then you may have a bug catcher and in the words of tim the tool man taylor "Grunt, Grunt, Grunt!!" hahaha

Shame its photoshopped...but does look ballsy. You could catch seagulls with that thing. No rego for such a baby in NSW. Maybe just about 12" over the 3/4" bonnet allowance. There's a slight chance at club rego, but that's no real fun.
