Like everyone else I say hell no!!! What would be interesting though is to ask the same thing on a Chaser forum somewhere and see what the response is.

No way. The soarer is soo much better. Im sure that chaser is nice and fast, but it just doesnt compare to that smooth original shape like the soarer has. Its one of those shapes i never get tired of - its just fantastic!

Saw a db9 earlier today around my suburb - that v12 makes such a fantastic sound! and it just has the wow look to it... nice and original
It then really strangely reminded me of the Soarer due to their slightly similar long aggressive shape.
To me it kind of reflects how nice a dark green Soarer with the spoiler; lip and larger wheels can almost be in the same ballpark as a fancy db9 or something similar like an xk8/xkr... Main difference is obliviously the price/rareness of those cars, plus how they are slightly faster but im sure with a good deal of money you could make a Soarer as fast as one of those factory quick vehicles.
Anyway when you look at a car like a chaser - there’s nothing about that’s interesting or has resemblances of a fancy car etc. Just a regular plane car that looks like so many others out there... Like a 4 door corolla, some boring Mazda etc. Boring!

The XK has the advantage of much later development so they get more out of their 4 or 4.2 litres but that is able to be fixed . They are really very similar cars in market and style.
