I watched my own soarer drive off with a new owner last night. Hardest thing to do, but I'm certain its for the best.
Big thanks to the people who have shared their knowledge of these cars, in particular Manny, Neil and Simon, who've all helped me out. And also to the many friends and forum characters here who have made soarer ownership such a blast.
I'll probably drop in to soarerland every once and awhile. Might even make a soarer comeback sometime in the future.
But as Craig said, "Take care and drive safe".

Morgs, I'm co-piloting my girlfriend's Spyder for now. Guess you'd call it a sideways move. I've had this obsession with wanting to supercharge it. 
Colin, the new owner can't seem to stay away from the forum! Expect to see some turbo newbie questions soon.  By the way.... Jade insists that if I get another soarer, it has to be an active!
Simon, thanks mate. Safe to say I won't be going far. I like soarers and other cars that the forum supports (celsiors, chasers, etc) way too much to just drop it and walk away.

Well Brad good to see ya driving a Toyota still!
Even with half the power and half the weight it still should go well for you, plus saving on the pocket at the pump too!
So hope you still can come down to Neil's for Easter and I hope no one will have a problem with the MR2. |

brad i think i know a man who knows how you feel, i just got my soarer a week ago, so i drove away from a man who had put alot of love into his ride, but i know i will keep putting love into it (i a non sexual way haha) |

Duy, My car wont be ready for another Month? or is something wrong with your car?
My car will be ready next week, my tailshaft has been done...We have been waiting on the turbos for Sometime from Max at ATS and we finally got them, so should be ready by Next thursday. |

 some body is in dream land and it aint me, you know you copied me, 1st i had the green soarer tt then you get a green soarer tt 2nd i get the nice mags then you copy mine except mine are nicer ;)lol (chrome)

Ha ha it did cross our mind, cause its very hard to contact him, but we have the turbos now and 1 turbo is bolted on, so car should be ready to pick up by next friday the latest, and i will be soarin again. |

Good luck with it Shane? What management system / injectors did you decide on? Did you convert to R154 or W58? What clutch ect.
Last few times I've missed you online and it seems a lot has happened since we last spoke.

Yeah i know mate,
Ive gotten it converted to R154 with a TRD 3 puck Clutch and 440cc Injectors and Apexi Power FC...Big Thanks to Neil for supplying me with everything i needed, and Manny with all his help and ofcourse my mechanic Niall who is doing all the work.
Turbos are replicas of Mannys old TT setup and thanks goes out to Lew for Dump Pipes.
Cant wait to get it on the road and tuned. |
