Blah thats no 350z, its like saying that triple rotor drag car is still an rx7 or something. I appreciate the skill involved with doin that, but drag cars aren't real cars, the same way race cars aren't real cars. Still that was pretty brutal!

It's not a Funny Car. Funny Cars have a solid rear end, engine in the middle, lift up body, this is definately a sedan.
Are you sure? It doesnt look like it has real doors, headlights or taillights to me - but it is a pretty poor quality vid. Still I've never seen a car with a factory body do under 7 seconds.

Well, Im guessing by the sounds of it... That thing is a monster Turbocharged V6.... Sounds very similar to the 7sec twin turbo Buik V6's that have been running in the US for a while.. Thats my guess anyways!

Yeah turbocharged VG35. Matt, it is probably a carbon fibre or fibre glass body, I am not disputing that. That said it may have steel quarter panels and roof which is generally accepted as making it world's fastest something or other.
Oh and John Zappia is the world's quickest true 'tin top' by the way, all steel HQ body (aside from fibreglass front clip for obvious reasons) with working lights. Top Doorslammer spec of course, 5.96 seconds!
