On a recent trip from Tamborine Mountain to the Sunshine Coast I used my fuel calculator and got close to 13kms per litre. I reckon on an outback flat road it would be no trouble for me to get 14. Anyone done that?

I thought I was sitting on about that, when I was coming back from Geraldton... then the gauge went from 1/4 to WARNING! Then she stopped, and I had to walk to the servo. Now I never trust the gauge below half.

Jeebus! I think its time for new o2 sensors for me.
The best I've done (and my car is a good couple of hundred kgs lighter) is 9km/L. Most of the time its closer to 8km/L on the open road, and around town its closer to 7km/L

Hi Mike,
I have the V8 to. I drove from gold coast to Bundaberg and only used half a tank. But around town I use that all too quick. V8's are made for long drives , expensive for short.
