| If a kit breaks/faults within 12 months, you return it to the manufacturer in Taiwan and they send u a replacement/repaired current one. The only cost of the warranty is the postage back to taiwan, they send it back to you for free. The wait/fix time is generally 7 days after they receive it, then an additional 3-4 days of postage time. |

| Hmmmm, what sort of time frame are we looking at Wayne? Im a bit short of funds at the moment. What are the limitations with fitment to the soarer as for as the models go? (4.2k, 6k-12k etc) HID may not be a great idea with the standard reflector type Hi-beam in the soarer. Just a thought |

| yeah it suxs trying to fire up HID's on high beam, takes too long to "get the point" accross. Id stick with something like phillips super bright filament types for high beams. |

All the low/high beams on our two are 9005J- 9005 require modification to fit. If the inner holder is the right size (20mm vs 22mm from memory- the latter being 9006) there's a little plastic ring needing changing to fit 9005 straight in. |

| Time Frame: earliest a few weeks. latest a few months? HID is for low beams only. A few guys have installed a different brand(prolumens) on their cars, i haven't heard that they had problems with the sizing? anyways if someone does a search and finds out post it on here. |

| This is CHEAP!! if they work. I'm pissed cause I just brought a HID kit off ebay for $330 delivered. Its works great, but 80 bucks cheaper is always good if its same qual. |

| the thing is that the soarer headlights have a projector lens on it so it focuses the light to a certain area. my mate has HID's on his skyline and his headlights don't have projectors. its splatters everywhere! |

Don't be so sure, I'm yet to find a HID warranty that covers the GLOBES. The globes are the most common thing to fail, and replacements aren't covered under warranty, only the ballasts are covered. Probably a good idea to email them Wayne and check.

It's true, they aren't legal as they aren't ADR aproved, they don't have the correct lenses and they don't have a wiper for the lense. Also, as of a few months ago it became illegal to modify your headlight globes in any way in Victoria. If a cop sees them, it's an instant defect.

In regards to warm up time, I changed my fuses from 15A-25A and with the lower resistance of the new fuse, they light up in a heartbeat, twice as fast as before I changed the fuse. The HID globe isn't designed to be flashed on/off quickly, they are designed to be heated up and left on, repeatedly turning them on/off will severly damage your globe and blow it up fairly quickly. Which is exactly why they aren't covered under warranty as they are easily misused. At approx $75 to replace the common globe and it can be costly if you don't treat your HID globes right. |

Kinda right. Projector-based headlights are about the best we're going to get in terms of easily converting halogen to HID. Reflector-based headlights are just crap and scatter the light everywhere. |
