Nothing until recently, had the car since June last year. Stuff I need to fix now is:

-smokey exhaust for past two months (valve stems seals/turbo seals/PCV valve, who knows)
-speed sensor not working since last week

That's it. No idea how much it will cost to fix though...

EDIT: Oh yeah, radiator toptank got busted, $350; and timing belt change $450.

Not including mods, after 1 year and 6 months of ownership I have done;
- 21,000kms
- 6 oil and filter changes
- 2 brake fluid flushes
- 3 spark plug changes
- 1 radiator flush
- 1 wheel alignment
- 2 new tyres

Nothing replaced yet.

In the next 6 months;
- 2 oil changes
- 1 transmission flush
- machine front rotors, install new pads
- clean headlights, install HID
- re-spray frontbar and lip
- reinstall RHS kit
- spray wheel hubs and calipers
- spray factory wiper arms

In the next year;
- oil changes as per usual
- 1 wheel alignment
- replace radiator top tank
- install supra 4pots
- install torsen typ II lsd

Thats my basic non-performance maintenance and upgrade list. Cars been good to me, nothing mechanical/driveline has failed or caused troubles so far (knock on wood). Undoubtably things will need replacing eventually, but ive had the engine mounts, trans mounts, bushes, steering, suspension etc looked at and everything is good to roll. The only thing that may need replacing in the future is a wheel bearing on the LHS front wheel. It makes a slight whirling noise above ~100kph, it became apparent after the wheel alignment so maybe it was due to the bad camber it had after the new suspension and rims went on. Maybe its not a wheel bearing..

I treat her with respect, she's good to me in return - hopefully that'll remain true!

Cheers

Wow.. wonder if I even start to list what I did to mine when I had first gotten it...

Body kit: Warped and off immediatly (body back down to stock)
Front bumper: cracked in 8 places: Replaced immediatly (back to stock :-( )
Serpentine Belt
Both rear bulbs
Fixed the blinki dash
Replaced the exhaust from the cat back
4 oil changes in 3 months to flush everything
Tranny oil changed 2ce.. that sucks to do with a manual

It wasn't a ton of stuff.. just enough to honestly change the look and bring it back to life being the previous owner beat the daylights out of it.. ahhhh memories (and $2300 later)

Okie dokie, let me see. I got my car just over a year ago...

39000km
6 or 7 oil + filter changes.
Replaced the platinum plugs (starting to show signs of haloing) with coppers (will change every 10000km). $32
Head unit + amp. $600-ish
Passenger window trim. $90
MAJOR panel repairs after the 'Garage Incident' (New driver's door, and both front quarter panels). FREE - YAY FOR INSURANCE!
Power steering hose. FREE hose + $3 of clamps + $10 of fluid.
Air filter. $66
Transmission flush. $81
Replaced parkers with Arctic Blue ones to look less yellow compared to the headlights (but they still look really yellow). $10
Misc. wedge bulbs. $5-ish

Apart from the repairs, I've really just been keeping up with my regular maintenance.

1JZ Cressida:

Power steering pump $150
Power steering rack & pump reco'd + other suspension work for rego: $2000 (got ripped off)
Rear brake pads: $200
Transmission (my own fault): $330 + $200 fitting
Plus the usual fluid changes etc
Been pretty good really, most of the money spent on this car is fuel and upgrades.
Added it up for tax - spent $9000 all up on it since I got it in May 2005. $3300 of that is fuel, to travel all of 15000kms :-(

1 year into ownership, nothing has gone wrong other than some failed tail light bulbs, needing to replace the left hand fog light, and a crack appearing in the left hand air vent which I havent bothered to fix yet. Yay.

Had my 32 for 4 1/2 years. I fixed a dud computer when I first got it which I knew was there. The only thing that has gone wrong with it that I was NOT expecting was the water pump shat itself. Was ok because it did it in my driveway and it was booked in for the 100 000km service the very next day anyway.

In the time I had my Gold 4.0GT it had no major problems. Just before I got it it had all shocks replaced through a mechanical breakdown warranty totalling around $2000 from memory according to the previous owner.

All that it really needed was, the cracked air vent plastic repaired and some cracks in the door trim fixed Other than that it was fine...

Hope the next one I have is just as good. :-)

I Have my car for 3 and a half yrs.

Ive spent bucket loads on my car, with fixing things and performance mods. Im still not really finished spending money on the car.

Ive had fixed.

Right and Left Hand Door Locks.
New Alarm System (old one packed it in)
Drivers Side Door Handle
Radiator Top Tank
2x Front Brake Pads
1x Rear Brake Pads
Engine Mounts
Steering Rack Bush
Upper and Lower Control Arm Bushes (Front)
1 Diff, now i have LSD
Blinki Dash
Air Conditioning Converted to R134 Gas
X3 Coil Packs
x4 set of Spark Plugs (1 set of cheapos, 1 set of platinums and now on 2nd set of Iridiums)
200,000KM Major Service (Water Pump, Timing Belt etc etc)
A few Radiator Flushes due to performance upgrades.
Replaced Leds in Air Con Unit.
Replaced Head Lights with G4 Globes
Had to replace ABS/TRC Pump Motor
A few set of tyres
Quite a Number of Oil + Filter changes aswell.
New Clutch Master Cylinder
Gone through a Couple Clutches (Finally found the right one i think)

Theres probally a few things ive missed (there just of the top of my head)

I wont go into my Performance Modifications because nothing needed fixing there i choose to spend the money on the Mods.

I still need to fix the exterior with some body Repair and needs a Major Respray. (which i will be getting in November, Fingers crossed)

BTW i havnt added up what ive spent on the car, I dont think i want to.
