i got near on same km`s out of extreme as i do from optimax.good thing is not any dearer at all.car definetley feels more responsive down low.could be much better with the safc tuned accordingly.this is when the two setup option of the safc could come in handy...one for ethanol blend one for normal optimax..hmm

Got a tank of Optimate Extreme on Saturday, only had a chance to drive around for about 15mins with no ECU reset (will do this tomorrow on the way to work )
I noticed (reading off my AVCR) that with Optimax Extreme it idles at ~800rpm, on Optimax it idles at ~700rpm.
Not sure if it's a bad thing, or a good thing. Or what else it may mean?

It means you have an inconsistent idle hehe. I had Optimax Extreme the other night and my idle dropped from the usual 700rpm's to 600rpm's for a few seconds, it's nothing to worry about.
700-800rpm idle is very healthy for the 1JZ, don't stress Jack.
