Does anyone have the part numbers for the Suction Transfer Valve for the V8? (the valve sits on the LHS chassis in front of the firewall and is the valve that the small metal hose from the firewall fits into). I also need the suction hose part number (this is the hose from the compressor to the valve mentioned). Thanks

No James, it's not in this picture,....I would say the valve is directly below the part on the RHS of the picture you have posted but forward of the firewall. The hose is made up of a metal pipe that runs along the chassis towards the front of the car and then flexible hose to metal pipe fitting on compressor.

Wonder how much THAT will be from Toyota ? !
Lots, if I remember rightly...........BUT, the right person CAN repair the old one. (normally the diaphragm splits, and you get no chilly air, plus the valve starts leaking!).
You can use the valve thingo and hose from a later Soarer, BUT Toyota changed the thread size on the 94 on ones when the R134 gas was introduced. So ewes would need to get the later compressor housing, hose, valve and install as a matched set.

Yeh, Lots $$$$ is an understatement!!!!!
I got a price for the valve #88503 Au$ 701.25 ex Japan. For the hose/pipe #88712 Au$ 159.39 ex Japan.
I guess for the hose I'm stuck, just have to purchase a new one as the existing hose/pipe has a leak, but for the valve is their a kit available??? to replace the diaphragm and seals contained in the valve??? Thanks for all the pics and details on the part numbers James and Don.....

I had my suction valved repaired at Natrad. No idea what was involved, but it only cost me an hours labour($66). They did mention it had a big leak, and linishing something. I was too relieved I did not have to pay for a $1000 part to pay attention.

what about second hand ?
Good thought, that's what Neil has done on occasion. ie; Sourced a good 2nd hand one from a Celsior, Crown or whatever, then used the good diaphragm from the donor unit in your Snoarer one.
I would be inclined to go with Ben's idea, and get Natrad et al; to repair your own one
