So I've just finished converting from an emv to a climate control using Richards tutorial(https://soarercentral.com/sc-forum/messages/31680/246760.html?1242802113 Cheers mate!) and have lost the fan in the middle of it. It all seems to work, unit lights up, changes where the air goes, and there is a small amount coming through when fresh is on(thats how I can tell the vents are doing what the unit says) temp control changes display, etc. Just no fan, so F-all air Getting fault code 21, solar circuit, which wont go away as much as I've tried. Any ideas what to check? I was thinking the fan controllers(https://soarercentral.com/sc-forum/messages/31680/250051.html?1224320246) or possibly another connection is needed, or my unit is the wrong year. Another question is maybe I took the old a/c button assembly out wrong, as there were no specifics on how or what to remove with it. I've also done the screen and backlight etc, it looks great, I'll post a pic when I get a chance

What year model Soarer is the Climate control unit from? As if you have installed a 94> unit it won't work with the 91-93 models. They run a completely different blower controller.

My part no: 55900-24070
I've searched toyodiy and google, and all I found was a bulb number common to all years, and too Russian sites that contradicted each other, one said 94-97, another 91-93.

Joe, only a bulb comes up with the start of that part no. Not sure where to go from here. I'll check my 92 unit in the TT and see what that part no. is.

Righty-ho, it is fixed. What did my Pa always say? Check the connections. It's almost always the connections.
This time it was Turns out, when I had soldered the pins of the climate control computer socket (removed from the climate control computer above the steering well), two pins had miss-aligned, due to heat by the looks of it. I didn't look inside before refitting, and was wondering why it was so had to push the one un-conformist plug back in. So now the pins are re-aligned, I now have an almost fully working A/C unit
The question is now: What do I connect to get the button illumination to work when the headlights switch on? Its a 1991 unit and 1991 Soarer.

Haha na, superchargers are way more simple than air conditioning control units, I could totally figure out those myself By the way, I tried to take a 0-100 video as the car is at the moment, couldn't get traction to accelerate under 6 seconds, let alone 5 flat. I need new tires
