Through a series of dodgy mods, my climate control packed it in about 2 years ago. Heres the short version
My car was imported with an aftermarket toyota 6 stack, sat nav and TV. I cant remember who it was, but a major car audio store installed a new deck for me, and took out the old TV etc. My climate control would only then work on FM and AM, but would shut off on CD etc (aswell as dim my boost controler light and gearbox PRND12 lights)
I later replaced my auto gearbox with a man. My climate control then stoped working completely. I asked my mechanic if he could fix it but he stated it was a mess back there, and he wasnt keen at all.
Some people mentioned its probs a fault earth, but i had a mate have a look at it yesterday who connected a new earth, confirmed it was a mess back there, and he had no idea where to go with the wiring unless he had a wiring diagram.
I cant find a wiring diagram, or afford 10 hours of an auto sparkies time, so any suggestions or can someone help me out with wiring diagrams??

Would be very hard without knowing exactly what wiring all the previous people did to it.
To give me any chance of figuring it out without guessing/process of elimination, testing with multimeter every single wire and documenting it's behavior I would need :
Pinouts of original stereo and climate control with English translation.
Wiring Diagrams with English translation.
I can recommend that you buy a front cut that is the same model as yours with same options, and use the whole wiring loom off it to connect the factory Audio and Climate control back to how it should be.
I also do not understand what you mean by aftermarket TOYOTA 6 stack, sat Nav and TV, do you mean factory option? In this case it would be hard to find a factory loom for all these options on your TT car.
This is the bad thing about retarded Car Audio Places that think they know everything, usually a bunch of losers who work there that have little common sense.
Why didn't you take it back to them when the climate control was not working after they installed their stuff?
It seems like the power wires going to your climate control are somehow influenced by the outputs of the stereo. You might need to find a wrecked soarer, and find out which wires on the factory climate control should have power and at what times, and then do the same to your climate control unit accordingly.
I would start by finding a Soarer with the same type of climate control as yours, or asking one of the members on here who have their dash apart to let you multimeter all the terminals on the climate control connectors on OFF, ACC/ON and Ignition.

Cheers for the reply mate. I took the csr back when I realised threw was an issue but the refused to help and said prove it was there fault.
It was an after market cd/tv/sat nav from another car, toyota branded but def not stock or factory option. volume control etc were on the unit rather than the volume control on the surround.
It is a big job, no doubt. Just need someone whos up for the challenge and knows what they are doing. I've be en a student for the last few yrs so haven't had the cash to pay someone to fix it. Trying to save for it now.

Your best bet if you wish to do it yourself is have a pen and paper and record the colour of wires coming from the head unit to the loom itself. So the unit they replaced is an aftermarket cd/tv/sat nav that is toyota branded? All factory toyota head units have the volume control etc on the unit itself and not onto the volume control that is on the surround. To use that they would have to tap into the wires to gain control of the volume via it.
It seems like they have tapped into wires they should not have and this is causing your climate control unit to have serious problems. It has happened before with a factory toyota upgrade to a sat/nav unit in a hilux as they tapped into the wrong wire and the unit would not work but was an easy fix and they should of tapped into the speed sensor wire.
I would also suggest taking photos of the unit itself and the mess of wiring just to see if others can try and pin point and help you out in getting this issues resolved for you as you are a student and have not had the funds to take it to someone to sort out.
