I've read through everything I can find on the subject but haven't found the definitive answer to my problem yet.

I changed the EMV to a TT Climate Control and it works 90% ok. The remaining problem is the fan only runs flat out (the heater/AC fan) and there is neither LCD nor button backlighting. I've tried two different climate control units - same issue.

The car is a UZZ31 from '91 and the CC units I've tried were reportedly working ok and from a '91 and a '92.

Thanks in advance.

Double check your new wiring loom. I have done the conversion and made up a loom with old connector as per the tutorial on this site. It is very easy to swap a pin over, I had to redo mine when I realised I had miss counted the pins.

My fan works perfectly, the only issue I have at the moment is the rear demister not working.
