Hey all,

I tried using my aircon over the last week with no success. When I turn it on, it is set to cold as default, but it only pumps out Hot Air, and when moving it through the degrees, the temps dont seem to adjust either, just stays hot. When I purchased the car, the air-con has just been re-gassed, so there should be heaps of gas. Dont know where to go from here, was thinking about taking it to a aircon specialist, but anyone know who can do that for me in Sydney?

The gas might be leaking which is why it was regassed.

If the passengers side of the radiator looks a bit oily when looking in from the front, then the O-rings need replacing. Should be a cheap job with a regas.

Also, they usually put dye in when they regas, so they can then see any leaks using UV light.
