From memory...Click on profile and then edit profile (you will need to enter username and password). From there click on picture and follow the prompts. Upload picture or something like that. |

Start by clicking the Profile button at top of the screen. Scroll down until you find the option to add your photo.  |

Thanks Peter, but where is the profile button at the top of the screen. Maybe I have missed something but us old guys and computers dont get on very well sometimes. Spent about 30 minutes clicking on everything but no joy.???????? |

Rod, scroll this screen right to the top so you can see the Soarer Central name and picture. There you will see two rows of words with the second word, after "Posts" being "Profile". Click on it and follow through on the screens that come up. Then, see what Peter said. |

Sorry David but Posts and Profile dont appear on my screen under Soarer Central name and picture. Just the usual name, password log in and register thingys, and under that search tree view etc but no "profile" Back to those who know about these mysteries. |

Rod, the Name and Password stuff should be replaced with Profile and other options if you are logged on. |

Just tested it. If you are logged out, there is NO profile option. You can still post by putting username/password in next to the post, but once you have posted you are then logged in.
So Rod, maybe make sure you are logged in before you look for Profile.
The other big advantage of being logged in, is the New Posts button. |

Well now I have consulted a mere female on this problem and she suggests that when logged in the screen changes with the profile bit coming up, it doesnt for me so if I was logging in with a slightly different password it would tell me wouldnt it ? When I do posting I use same log in name and password but still cant get the profile bit at top of page. |

Aha! Found the problem (I think). You must have edited your profile once before and turned off "Remember my username and password in a cookie".
I have turned it back on for you, see if it helps.
If not, then you are also blocking cookies in your web browser.  |

I plead not guilty probably my son who comes down periodically to fix problems, in fact the other one does as well, both got computer science degrees so what they dont know about these is not worth knowing but cant get hold of one of them cause he is in London on a course for the firm he works for. Anyway Pete you have fixed the problem as all signs have come up now. I wouldnt know a cookie blocker if I fell over one. Ta for the perserverance. |

Hey guys I know that this is a really old post but I have the exact same problem.
It's driving me insane, I have been trying over and over to change cookie and every other internet setting even tried on a mates computer.. but still can't get the profile button, as I have changed email addresses twice I can't even change to the new address.
Can someone help me, please...
