NZ is a little British outpost, in the backwaters of the Pacific, slightly north of the Antarctic where the indigenous natives were saved from starvation and inbreeding by the arrival of the white man.
Since then Australia has used the islands as protection from Tsunamis caused by landslips in the South Pacific basin.
Known for their prowess at exploration, 250 New Zealanders re-discovered Mount Eribus in the Antarctic a few decades ago and liked it so much they decided to stay.
The land is so much affected by volcanic activity that sometimes Australians have to resort to bowling underarm in cricket in order to make it fair for the NZ batsman to see the ball correctly.
Recently sprung to fame because of a movie called Lord Of The Rings where all the Hobbits and goblins were cast from the local population as a cost saving exercise... no makeup or wardrobe was required at all. All human looking cast were imported from elsewhere.
Renown for being delighted any time an Australian sports person or team is defeated, by anyone or anything. However Australian love their South Pacific cousins, the little darlings, and are delighted if any New Zealander wins an occasional crumb here and there on the sports field.

And David, if you believe that little outburst of incorrect knowledge then there is something wrong with you. As we all know, Australia is a penal colony and as you can plainly see here even after many generations the stealing and LYING still runs strong in their veins.
