that is pretty wicked! I'm a sucker for all things symmetrical, i like how the highbeams feed the turbos and the short cooler piping. however, wouldn't the turbos generate lots of heat, which directly effect the effectiveness of the front mounts.
but i had to be nitpicky, so what's gonna save it from a head on collision?

The V mount them when using them in a Circuit style Race car setup Jeff.. Very common with drifters and circuit racers as it allows them to make longer than standard front bars and design air ducts that will flow from the bottom of the spoiler up through them. So the air is used to give alot of downpressure and will flow on through the coolers...
When mounted like this and used with speed, they will work perfectly. Remember its a race car only. ON the street is a different thing as we have to work with low speed driving and stand still.
