Guys,
I am just about to start removing the headlights for the cleaning process. Quick question which I have not gotten info on.
With the oven technique, how hot does the oven have to be and how long do I need to leave the headlights in for? Your earliest reply would be appreciated.

Ohh by the way. Are the high beam lights suppose to come out for a clean. I could not manage to remove them. So Only have the main headlights cleaned and not the middle high beams. Am I just suppose to clean it where it is?
Te high beams generally don't have the problem of getting dirty inside. I think you need to remove the front bar to get at them, so just clean the outside and they should be fine.

Depends how bad they are? Had great success with hot water wash with a little dishwasher liquid.Throughly rinse and sun dry 1/2 days, with no danger of oven melt down. When you put them back don't overtighten the 2 nuts pulling them back behind the guards, as this can open up the top seam if there not sitting evenly. Obviously still polish outside lense.

To clean the lights u can use scratch x (or any scratch remover), car polish, brasso or bug n tar remover, others will probly work too. they all work good and leave your lights like new.

Hi sorry to interrupt but my mechanic told me he has a way of dealing with the water condensation without taking apart the lights. He told me to pour some mineral spirits into the globe holes and then shake it out and let it dry. Any ideas if its true? Cos it'll be a much easier task.
