On top of the fact that its a legal requirement, its also dangerous... my Cima didnt have any when it came to Australia, and in the short drive between the docks and the compliance workshop i quickly realised that only people right behind me and in front of me knew i was trying to merge lanes... The people in the other lane had no idea until i merged. (could also have been the fact that i was driving a hotpink car that they were distracted!)

a set of S15 clear repeaters into the mirrors it is then, BTW my R32 (long departed) did not have repeaters on the side just the front and back never had a problem.

Its one of those things that you might get away with for a while, and cops might not even notice when they pull you over. But I drive in high traffic areas and there are lots of times i have to merge lanes...
I'm interested in the S15 indicators in mirrors idea though, be sure to post pics when you are done!
