I was reading a while ago about fuel and that. It was a email sent around at work. It said if everyone around didnt fill up petrol for one day the overstock will be so great that oil companies and refinaries will have no choice but to drop the price.
Dont know if this is true. But mind you at the end of the email it did say send this to 10 friends of you will be found with bad luck for the next 10 years. hahahaha
Only joking about the last part. But what does everybody think about not filling up for 1 day??? Could it work???

Which means that 98 will be around 1.75$ or something ridiculous per litre.
Yeah, its usually around 0.08 per litre more, so something like $1.74. I've dropped back to 95 for the moment I'm afraid. Won't go down to 91 though - never.

A U.S. gallon is nearly 4 litres so that is about 90c/litre for us.
On the "don't buy petrol for a day" comment, there is already a thread about this. In the long term, price rises will be constrained only if we all buy less of the stuff so anyone with a car over 2.4L should sell it at once, you all hear?

Well I filled up Last night, being tuesday night itsa the cheapest, And the Buggers at the petrol stations had already put prices up!
I payed $1.44.2 for BP ultimate 98 octane fuel.
Took just over 60 litres and cost me $90 on the mark! Needless to say i got 510 km out of that much fuel with mostly city driving(and lots of WOT,hehe) Id like to see any other cars as fast as these get that kind of economy
All i can say to all that is...DAMN most of them are slow!!! I'd hate to be paying that much for that little performance and Bucketloads of fuel as well.. The fuel consumption doesnt = out the massive shove in the chest performance..
The F6 Typhoon was voted best car of the bunch overall. Anyways Hope ya'd like to see what our BEASTS compare to the latest releases from the Aussie top guns.

Our fuel recently went down after the last tanker (which was before the latest round of crude oil price hikes, due to tension over Iran) to AUD1.78/litre. Prior to that it was $1.86/l.
